J C Adams

Dec 6, 1935 - Mar 28, 2008

J C Adams, 72, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away March 28, 2008 at Ponca City Medical Center, Ponca City, Oklahoma.

J C was born December 6, 1935 in Bowchamp, Arkansas to Daniel and Eula (Ramsey) Adams. JC requested to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Arrangements are under the direction of Tonkawa Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

J C graduated from Jones High School in Jones, Oklahoma, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and married Deborah Adams in 1968. JC moved to Ponca City in 1994 to be close to his daughter and granddaughters. He was a good and loving father who will be missed by his family

He is survived by his daughter, Liz Foster of Ponca City, Oklahoma; a son, Gary Foster; his sisters, Nina Elliott, Agnes Tate, Imagene Moore; his brother, Dub Adams; his granddaughters, Samantha Foster, Ryan Dunman; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Troy Adams
