ALVA - Elma E. Adams, 78, died Sunday. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Alva Weslyan Church with the Rev. Sam Heck and the Rev. Glen McMurphy officiating. Burial will be in the Hardtner (Kan.) Cemetery under the direction of the Wharton Funeral Chapel.
Adams was born March 27, 1907, west of Alva , to Jane R. and John W. Parker. She attended a rural grade school in that area.
She was married to Walter Adams on March 25, 1931, at Alva. The couple farmed and ranched north of Alva. In 1976, they retired and moved to Alva.
She was a member of the Cedar Grove Wesleyan Church.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
She is survived by her husband Walter.
Memorials in her name may be made to the Cedar Grove Wesleyan Church.
