Enid Morning News June 1999

Noel, Missouri – The funeral for Frances Esther Adair, 92, will be 2 PM today in Noel United Methodist Church. The Reverends Alice Sutton and Bob Howard will officiate. Burial will be in Noel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ozark Funeral Home Inc., Anderson, Missouri.

She was born June 27, 1907, in Enid to Charles Parker and Nora Barger Fillebrown and died Sunday, June 27, 1999, at Noel. She attended school in Afton, graduating as valedictorian in 1923. She attended Enid Business College and worked a number of years for Eason Oil Company in Enid. She was a homemaker and a member of Noel United Methodist Church. She was involved in scout programs, PTA, church groups and American Red Cross.

On May 31, 1934, she married Raymond Adair.

Surviving are her husband, Raymond; two children, Frances Eileen Adair Mercadante of Lawton and Raymond Adair II of Noel; five grandchildren; and seven great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
