A Celebration of Life for Janie Ruth Aary, age 60, of Enid, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Vernon Lee officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 12th, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Janie Ruth Aary was born March 18, 1961, in Tulsa, OK, to Ed and Pat Hunt, and passed away Thursday, May 6th, 2021, peacefully at her home.
Janie graduated from Daniel Webster High School, Tulsa, OK, in 1979. On August 26th, 1983, she married the love of her life, Wendell Aary, at Skelly Drive Baptist Church in Tulsa. To this union, two beautiful daughters, Ashley Dawn and Amanda Danielle were born.
She and Wendell lived in Prattville, OK, then later moved to Yukon, OK. On Janie and Wendell's 8th wedding anniversary, they moved to Enid, where they made their home. She was a housewife and volunteered at Glenwood School. In 2001, Janie began working for Dr. Barry Pollard, where she worked until her death.
Janie enjoyed spending time with her family, arts and crafts, decorating her home, and was an amazing party planner. She was able to meet her brand-new grandson, Macklin James, just a few days before she passed away.
Janie is survived by her husband of 37 years, Wendell, of the home in Enid; two daughters, Ashley Dennis and husband Chris, of Bixby, OK; Amanda Aary of the home in Enid; grandson Macklin James Dennis of Bixby, OK; brother, Jim Hunt and wife Amy, of Tulsa; mother-in-law, Karen Aary of Glenpool, OK; brother-in-law, Doug Aary of Beggs, OK; and sister-in-law, Anita Newman and husband Malcolm, of Sapulpa, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Aary family, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
