STUMPFF FUNERAL HOME
BARTLESVILLE, WASHINGTON CO, OK
(permission granted)

Randall "Randy" Lee Tatum, 59, of Wann, Oklahoma, died Friday, March 13, 2020 at his home, surrounded by family and friends.

Randy was born July 13, 1960, in Paola, Kansas to parents Guy LaFay and Loretta Mae (Swogar) Tatum. The couple moved to Wann when he was 7 years old. His father wanted the kids to be raised in the country rather than in the city. When Randy was 12, he was driving a tractor and his shoestrings got wrapped around the clutch. The tractor flipped on top of him and he was hospitalized for 9 months. It was truly a miracle that he survived and still had scars from the accident. He graduated in 1979 from Wann High School. Randy married Jane Raasch on September 19, 1980 in Coffeyville, Kansas. The couple had three children, Justin, Todd and Jennifer. When the kids were young, they went camping a lot and spent a lot of time at the lake. Randy worked as a welder, all of his life, for companies Jensen, JenCast and Taylor Crane. He spent every summer in the hayfields. He enjoyed the country life and lived it to the fullest. Randy also loved watching his kids and grandchildren grow and loved spending time with them.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, grandparents and his in-laws.

He is survived by his wife Jane, of the home; son Justin Tatum and wife Kellie of Pryor; son Todd Tatum and wife Laura of Wann; daughter Jennifer Murray and husband Joe, also of Wann; grandchildren Koltin, Jentrie, Kanyon, Pistol, Tripp and Mesa; brother in law Bill Raasch of Coffeyville; mother Loretta; brothers Jim and wife Carol of Owasso and Tony and wife Angie of Wann; sister Teresa and husband Ray McIntosh of Tulsa and numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
