Lifetime Wann Resident, Erma "Arline" Sturgeon was born November 24, 1933 in Butler Creek Community to Stephen Edgar and Faletues Viola (Sheets) Stevens. She passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 22 days.

Arline was a graduate of Wann High School, class of 1950. After graduation, Arline was united in marriage to Jesse Eugene Sturgeon at her parent's home in Wann, Oklahoma on March 1, 1951 and to this union 6 children were born. Arline was a woman of many trades, working as a teacher's aide at Oklahoma Union Schools, a cafeteria worker at Wann Schools, and owning and operating Adams Feed Store. Arline took great pride in being a farmer's wife and raising her children and grandchildren.

Arline is survived by five children, Linda Fay Moss and her husband, Don of Douglas, Wyoming, Neva Kay Smith and her husband, Norman of Dewey, Oklahoma, Ethel May Smith and her husband, Chuck of Dewey, Oklahoma, Rodney Gene Sturgeon and his wife, Teresa of Gentry, Arkansas, and Steve Lee Sturgeon and his wife, Stacey of Wann, Oklahoma; four brothers, Glen Stevens of Bartlesville, Chester Stevens of Tyro, Kansas, Virgil Steven and his wife, Emma of Dearing, Kansas, and Gerald Stevens of Maysville, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse; one son, Gerald Eugene Sturgeon; one grandson, Kenny Smith; and nine siblings, Robert Stevens, Orville Stevens, Cecil Stevens, Lester Stevens, Loraine Hunt, Clifford Stevens, Vaughn Stevens, Marvin Stevens, and Geraldine Stevens.

Funeral services will be 1pm, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Northpoint Assembly of God with Reverend Kirby Stevens and Pastor Doyle Brummett officiating.

Interment will follow in Wann Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Journey Home in Bartlesville. Services are under the care of Davis Funeral Family Home.
