Margie was born on June 16, 1941, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to her mother, Julia Carlile. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and church, but her most treasured times were when she was surrounded by family and friends. Margie married Charles Edward Venable in 1969 and he later passed away in 2012. In November of 2015, Margie met Carl Compston and they married November of 2015.
Margie is preceded in death by her mother; two sons, Delray and Charles Edward; four brothers, Henry Carlile, Marvin Carlile, Clyde Carlile, and Houston Carlile; and many other family members.
Margie is survived by her husband, Carl Compston; daughters, Lashona Solares and husband Nicolas and Carla and Husband Brandon; son, Juan Benavides and wife Carmen; grandson, Eddie and his wife Faith Stoltenberg; granddaughter Cheyenne and wife Mikayla Stolnner and many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2020, from 9:00 am – 8:00 pm.
A
Private Graveside service will be held at a later date.
