Samantha Michelle
Penn-Lockridge was a gift from the day she was born. She was born on her
father’s birthday, December 1st, 1975 to Adelphia and James Penn in Nowata,
Oklahoma.
Samantha grew up in Lenapah,
Oklahoma. She graduated Salutatorian from Oklahoma Union High School. She then
continued her education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, on
the Deans Honor Roll, from Langston University.
At the age of 45, Samantha leaves to cherish her memories, her fiancé Kasey
Lockridge and stepson Isaiah Lockridge. Mother Adelphia Penn, Father James Penn,
and Grandmother Rosie Green. Brother Christopher Penn and his wife Shelly Penn.
Sisters Jessica Penn and sister/friend Sandra West. Nieces: Brooklyn, Jasmine,
Jayde, Camryn, Amya, and Layla. Nephew Cole Penn and Great Nephew Jami Penn.
Godchildren: Lamar, Alisha, Charles, Heze’keih. Four Aunts, three Uncles, and a
host of close relatives, friends, and forever companion pet dog Pepe’.
Samantha enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her affiliated biker club members.
Reading, casino trips with Kim, shopping, and enjoying time with her nieces,
nephews, and godchildren. She also enjoyed working as a benefits coordinator for
the Oklahoma City Indian Health Center. Samantha loved creating precious new
family memories with the three guys in her life, Kasey, Isaiah, and Pepe'.
Samantha is preceded in death by her Grandfather Lewis Green Sr. Uncles: Lewis
Green Jr, Lenoard “Erick” Green, Phillip Penn, and Roscoe Penn. Aunts Wanda Neal
and Sharon Harris. They will all be greatly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Oklahoma
Union School Gymnasium with Rev. Vincent Orange officiating. Interment will be
in the Hickory Creek Cemetery directed by the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home.
The family will receive guests for visitation at the Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home
on Wednesday, March 31st from 5 PM until 7 PM.
