Dale ‘Earlene’ (Ridenhour) Riley, gained her wings on January 26,

Earlene was born October 4th, 1934 to Richard Clyde Ridenhour and

attended Oologah-Talala schools until the 8th grade when the family
purchased and moved to the farm in the Twin Bridges Community, East of

with the class of 1952. After graduation she furthered her studies at
Bartlesville Business College. From there she went on to be employed by

Earlene met the love of her life, Richard Lee Riley Sr.; they were
married January 24, 1954 at the Twin Bridges Community Building. From
this union two sons were born, Richard Lee Riley Jr., and Randall Dale

Earlene decided it was time to return back to work. She was employed at
various businesses over the years including Southwestern Bell,
Montgomery Ward, Home Savings and Loan, Stumpffs, and was also a
caregiver for the elderly.
Earlene was a longtime member of the Delaware First Baptist Church, as
well as a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Earlene enjoyed
reading, quilting, gardening, baking, bowling, volunteering and keeping
the nursery at church. What brought her most joy, however, was her
family. Whether it be caring for her parents, checking on her boys,
laughing with her siblings, taking the grandkids on trips, organizing
family events or fishing with Richard at Lake Fork, Texas. She no doubt
enjoyed life to the fullest.
