Donna Dean Ele Patrick, 89, of Nowata, Oklahoma, left this world for her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 9, 2020, 1 day before she would have turned 90.

Donna was born on June 10, 1930, in Cleveland, Oklahoma, to John and Cleo Ele. She grew up and received her education at Childers School. After graduating in 1948, she married Bob Patrick, who preceded her in death in 1994. From that union, she is survived by 2 sons Dale Patrick of Nowata and his wife Shirley and John Patrick of Checotah, Oklahoma.
Donna was saved on October 30, 1966 at First Christian Church in Woodward, Oklahoma.
She worked for the Hays House for a number of years until she retired. She then enjoyed her soap operas, birds, and her dog! She enjoyed her travels in her younger years.

Donna is survived by her sons Dale Edward Patrick and wife Shirley and John Patrick of Checotah, Oklahoma; six grandchildren Mendy Smallwood and husband Larry of Nowata, Patty Patrick of Nowata, Mary Ann of Bartlesville, Angie Jameson of Salina, Kansas, Brian Patrick of Idaho and Kerry Patrick of Hennessey, Oklahoma; eleven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John in May of 1979 and Cleo in May of 2001 and her husband.

“Remember me with smiles and laughter, cause that’s how I’ll remember you all. If you can only remember me with tears, don’t remember me at all!”

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 2:00pm at Stumpff-Nowata Funeral Home with Pastor Wendall Abbott officiating.

Interment will follow the services at the Ball Cemetery in Childers.
