Maudine was born September 28, 1938 in Washington County, Oklahoma
to Harold Buoy and Stella Johnson Buoy. She was raised and received her
education in Oglesby, Oklahoma. She then met and married Joe Richard
Hindman, who soon became a "Sr." after the birth of their first son, Joe
Richard Hindman Jr., later to be called Punkin. More children were born,
TaLona, Todd, Quent, Stevie, Rosonna, and Johnny, and by 1971 they
permanently settled in the Childers area and the kids were educated in
the Alluwe School Family.
After raising her family, Maudine put 13 years of blood, sweat, and
tears into her work at Nowata Nursing Facility before she retired. It
was her second home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers
Carl, Jim, Jack, and John and her sister Joyce, her son Quent, and her
daughter TaLona.
She leaves behind her brother Ron and wife Patsy Buoy, her brother
Ben, her sister Mary Coleman, her children Joe Hindman Jr., Todd and Pam
Hindman, Stevie Hindman and fiance Angie Kirby, Rosonna Ennis, and

grandkids, lots of nieces and nephews, and still has lots of love for
the entire Hindman family.
