Lutheran Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family
visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
He was born May 17, 1926, on the family farm near Perry to Martin
and Margaret Lovekamp Rupp and died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Perry
Memorial Hospital.
He served in the Army during World War II with the 70th Division,
274 Infantry, II Battalion E, Company. He received the EAME Theater
Campaign Ribbon with two Bronze Stars, the Good Conduct Medal, the
Army of Occupation Ribbon Germany, the Victory Ribbon and two
Overseas Service Bars.
He married Zelma F. Melton May 25, 1951, in Perry.
Surviving are his wife, Zelma; one daughter, Mary Weinkauf of Perry;
one brother, Leonard Rupp of Perry; three grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one grandson.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street,
Perry, OK 73077, to Zion
Lutheran Church.
