The funeral for Leona Anna Musick Rice, 89, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at Zion Lutheran Church. The Rev. Craig Groseclose will officiate.

Burial will be in
Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born April 3, 1920, near Perry to Emil and Alvina Karcher Beier and died Monday, Sept. 14, 2009, at her home.

he married Arlie A. Musick Jan. 28, 1938, in Perry. She worked on the family farm with her husband until 1976, when they moved to town. She went to work for TG&Y in 1976 as the clothing department manager, retiring in 1985. He died June 18, 1979.

She married Charles R. Rice Sept. 7, 1990, in Perry. He died March 1, 2008.
She was a lifelong member of
Zion Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and was active in Lutheran Women's group.

Surviving are three sons, Jerry Musick of Fayetteville, Ark., Roger Musick of Yukon, and Craig Musick of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three daughters, Joan Curtis of Stillwater, Sandy Little of Ankeny, Iowa, and Kim Hefley of Wellington, Kan.; one brother, Arnold Beier of Clifton, Kan.; three sisters, Lorene Loveless of Perry, Marlene Oltmanns of Stillwater and Carol Fuxa of Weatherford, Texas; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to both husbands, Arlie and Charles, she was preceded in death by two sons, two sisters and three brothers.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077 to Zion Lutheran Church.
