Joan Judith Curtis, age 80, of Perry, Oklahoma passed away December 8, 2021 at Green Valley Nursing Home with her loved ones at her side.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in Perry with Pastors Peter Olsen and Dan Thimell officiating. Joan will be laid to rest at Zion Cemetery following the service.

Joan was born on May 31, 1941 in Perry, Oklahoma to Arlie and Leona (Beier) Musick. Joan grew up on a farm east of Perry. She graduated from Perry High School in 1959 and later furthered her education at Cosmetology School.

Joan married James H. Curtis at the Zion Lutheran Church in Perry on June 1, 1962. She supported her husband in France as he served in the military. Joan always placed family and faith first in her life. She was a lifelong devoted member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and served as Superintendent.
