The funeral for Flossie Mittasch, 92, of Perry will be 10 a.m. Tuesday
at Morrison Christian Church, Morrison. Roy Fleshman, pastor, will
officiate. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger
Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Monday
at the funeral home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1915, in Perry to Levi H. and Edna Naomi Slaven
Kaup and died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, in Blackwell.
She married Grover C. Mittasch Jr. April 22, 1939, at Eureka Springs,
Ark. She was a member of Sumner Christian Church until it disbanded then
became a member of Morrison Christian Church. She was also a member of
Sumner Home Demonstration Club and served more than 50 years on Auburn
Township and Sumner election boards and was a Noble County Election
Board volunteer.
Surviving are her daughter, Janice Hansen of Perry; two sons, Bob
Mittasch of Newkirk and Kenneth Mittasch of Pawnee; eight grandchildren;
and 15 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Grover, she was preceded in death by three
sisters and one brother.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street,
Perry, OK 73077, to a charity of choice.
