Mrs. Belk had lived near Stillwater since 1892 on a farm homesteaded in opening of the Cherokee Strip . She was born at King City Missouri in 1870 and lived there until coming to Oklahoma . She was a member of the Christian church.
Among survivors are two sons Howard of Big Spring , Texas and Harold of the home ; two daughters Mrs. Dell Watson of Sapulpa and Mrs. Ed Bandelier, Midwest City; a sister Mrs. Molly DeBolt , Long Beach California ; eight grandchildren,15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
