Thomas John Morris McGlaslin, lovingly known as Beaver, of Red Rock, Oklahoma, died on December 15, 2023, at the age of 63.

He leaves a legacy of laughter and a trail of good deeds that will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a particular brand of humor that ran the gamut from corny to inappropriate; he always had a story to tell. You never knew what he would say next, but you knew it would be funny and unforgettable.But he was more than fun, more than funny. He was incredibly kind and a pillar of support for friends and family alike. Whenever someone needed a helping hand, Thomas was there without hesitation. His generosity knew no bounds, and his willingness to go the extra mile for others left a lasting impact on his family, friends, and the community he cherished.

He was born January 4, 1960 to his biological parents, Daniel (Boots) McGlaslin and Dinah Ely. He was adopted by Rev. John and Claudette Morris at two days old in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

He attended elementary school in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. In his younger years, he was a proud Cub Scout with many badges and honors. He attended Chilocco Indian School, but graduated from Red Rock High School as a Red Rock Rocket. He was an avid basketball player throughout his high school career. After graduating, he attended Okmulgee Tech (OSUIT), where he met his wife, Sylvia St. John. They had one daughter, Claudetta Joyce.
 

Beaver is survived by his daughter, Claudetta Joyce Buttery and her husband Blake Buttery; siblings, Michael Morris and wife Jonell Morris, Susan Morris Ahdokobo, Ardena (Tootsie) McGlaslin, Norma Gene, Ida Mae Mellana, Tammy Sanchez and husband Alex Florida; brother-in-law, John P. Helt, special niece, Michelle Stillwell, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John S. Morris and Claudette "Moore" Morris; his biological parents, Daniel (Boots) McGlaslin and Dinah Ely; his siblings, David James Morris Sr. and Anna Mae Morris, Danny Boyskin, and brother-in-law, Dale Ahdokobo Sr.
 

Funeral services will be Decembr 18th, 2023 at the Otoe Missouria Tribal Complex and grave side services with Nelson Wesley officiating.
 

Interment will follow at The Otoe Missouria Cemetery.
 

Pallbearers will be Blake Buttery, Bobby Moore, Mike Ahdokobo, Rudolph Ahdokobo, Allen Ahdokobo Jr., David Morris Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Blake Buttery, John Helt, Josh Helt, Elijah Helt, David Lane, Aley Sanchez, Bradley Moore.
