Luther (Luke) McGlaslin, Jr.Luther was born February 12, 1958 at Pawnee Indian Hospital to Luther, Sr. and Juanita Mae McGlaslin and went to be with Christ his Savior on November 30, 2016. 

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 3 at Otoe Indian Baptist Church in Red Rock, Oklahoma. 

Visitation-wake services are on December 1 and December 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home in Pawnee, Oklahoma.

Luther was a life-long resident of Enid, except for his time of service in the Marine Corps. He was a member of the Otoe tribe.  He worked at several moving companies, roofing, construction and painting jobs. Luther was a very talented artist and passionate about painting and sketching. He served as Pastor of First Indian Baptist Church in Enid for the last several years.  He stayed committed to God and never wavered in his faith.

He is survived by wife, Linda Smart; daughters, Maria Eaves and Rebekah McGlaslin; son, Taylor McGlaslin; mother, Juanita Mae McGlaslin; sisters, Anna Walters, Leda Snell, Anita McGlaslin and Jody McGlaslin; grandsons, Taylor Rush, Armon Eaves, Omri Eaves, Jabez Watkins, and Josiah Murphy; granddaughter, Pawnee Rush; and many other extended family members and friends. 

He was proceeded in death by his father Luther McGlaslin, Sr.; brother, Taylor McGlaslin; grandfathers, Charlie McGlaslin and Hugh Ralph Taylor; grandmothers, Lena Arkeketah and Cora Jim.   

Donations may be made to Enid Hospice Circle of Love in his memory. Services were under the direction of Poteet Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
