Jefferson H. Jeff Littlecrow Sr.,
longtime resident of Red Rock, went to be with his Lord and Savior
on Wednesday morning, June 13, 2012 at the Stillwater Medical
Center. He was 71 years of age.
Jeff was born March 13, 1941 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Amos
Littlecrow and Frances Kihega Littlecrow. He was a graduate of Red
Rock High School and completed two years at the Haskell Institute in
Lawrence, Kansas. He had been employed at one time as an auto
mechanic. He was a member of the Elk Clan of the OtoeMissouria
Tribe. He was also a member of the Otoe Baptist Church in Red Rock.
His enjoyments included watching boxing and basketball on television
and playing bingo.
He is survived by two children, Jeff Littlecrow Jr. of Ponca City
and Angel Littlecrow of Visalia, California two sisters, Pharabe
Botone and Mary Oyebi, both of Red Rock three grandchildren, Aiden
Littlecrow, Kristen Littlecrow Wolf and Cheyenne Littlecrow Wolf
many other extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his
parents his brothers and sisters, Robert Littlecrow, Amos Littlecrow,
Charles Littlecrow, Bill Littlecrow, Francis Littlecrow, Emma
Arnold, Sally Collins and Tonya Littlecrow.
Prayer services will be held Thursday and Friday evening at the
OtoeMissouria Cultural Center. A noon meal will be served on
Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the Cultural Center with the funeral
service to follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the OtoeMissouria
Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
