Winifred Jovonne ''Jo'' Pettit-Lieb, longtime resident of Ponca City and the Red Rock Area, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 1, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Enid, OK. She was 72 years of age.

Jo was born on November 7, 1943 in Pawnee, OK, the daughter of Frank and Julia Pipestem-Pettit. She later moved to Red Rock, OK. She graduated from Red Rock High School. She also attended Northern Oklahoma College and the Draughn Business School.

She was united in marriage to Henry A. Lieb Jr. in December of 1996 at Newkirk, OK. They made Ponca City their home.

Jo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and Aunt, who was raised in a traditional family setting.

Jo had many interests which included attending cultural activities. She was an avid seamstress.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Henry Lieb Jr, 2 sisters, Mary Katherine Stiers of Ponca City, OK and Christine Zuffante of St. Louis, MO; 1 brother, Cornelius Sukie Pettit of Oklahoma City, OK; Her Children, Frances McIntosh-Brown of Bressie, OK, John McIntosh of Tyron, OK, Roberta McIntosh of Red Rock, OK, Nathan McIntosh of Carney, OK, Gerald McIntosh, of Carney, OK, Olivia Buffalohead of Ponca City, OK; Step-Children, Jeff Lieb and Kinsel Lieb, both of Ponca City, OKL, Rose Lieb and Steve Lieb, both of Tonkawa, OK; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal parents, Agnes Pipestem and Andrew Hudson, 2 brothers, 3 sisters.

Prayer services for her will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 and Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 7 p.m. at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Building with Randy Whitehorn officiating.

The Traditional Feast will be held at noon on March 4, 2016 with services to follow . Burial will be held in the Otoe- Missouria Tribal Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
