Lillian Rose Atkins, resident of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was 65 years of age. Lillie Rose was born on January 22, 1956, to Baxter Davis and Virgie Rachel (Wildbird) Atkins. She was a member of the Otoe Missouria Tribe and of the Pigeon Clan.
Lillie Rose grew up in Red Rock, Oklahoma and graduated from Red Rock School in 1974. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, opened her home to many friends when they needed a place to stay and she also loved the OSU Cowboys.
Lillie Rose is survived by her children, Berdina Tohee and husband Vernon of Red Rock, Joshua Kimberlin of Enid and Sierra Atkins of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, Tori, Tia, Littleson, Elijah, Jaxsen, Ivy, Isaiah and 5 great grandchildren, Aden, Letty, Avery, Virginia and Kingston. Siblings, Mickie Oulds, Vergil Atkins, Sr and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Vernon Atkins, Gilbert Atkins, Aaron Atkins, Wilson Atkins and sisters, Alberta Kirn and Jackie Deere. One grandson, James Tohee.
Viewing will be at Grace Memorial Chapel from 9:00am to 10:30 am on Sunday, February 14, 2021.
The funeral procession will depart Grace Memorial Chapel at 11:00am to take Lillie to her resting place in the Otoe Missouria Tribal Cemetery in Red Rock, Okla.
The graveside service will begin at Noon with Amos Littlecrow presiding.
Pall bearers will be Vernon Tohee, Joshua McBlair, Vergil Atkins, Jr, Cody Kirn, Aaron Atkins and Littleson Tohee. Honorary bearers are Joshua Kimberlin, Rusty Atkins, Cory Deere, Jaime Deere, Willie Kirn, Waylon Atkins, and Orrin Atkins.
