Edith Faye (Keith) Terronez, was born September 17,
1940, in Perry, OK, to Lloyd Lester and Grace
(Howell) Keith and passed away from this life on
October 16, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was
79 years old.
Edith, a lifelong resident of Perry, Oklahoma, was a
member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She
was the third oldest of thirteen children and
attended Perry Public Schools. On November 8, 1957
she married Robert (Bob) Terronez and was blessed
with 61 years of marriage and two children, son
Carlos and daughter Sage.
Edith was employed with BestYet Grocery for 19 years
before retiring and is remembered for her beautiful
smile and helpfulness to all who visited her
department. She loved to spend time laughing with
her brothers and sisters and enjoyed reading, sewing
and cooking. After retiring, Edith and Bob devoted
their time to their grandchildren and enjoyed
watching their activities. She was a kind and
compassionate human being to all who knew her.
Edith is survived by her husband Bob of home; son
Carlos Terronez and wife Cindy of Perry, OK,
daughter Sage Chenoweth and husband Scott of Perry,
OK; grandchildren: Demetrius Terronez and wife
Melissa of Wilsonville, Oregon, Courtney Phillips
and husband Bobby of Asher, OK, Sebastian Chenoweth
and Savannah Chenoweth of Perry, OK;
great-grandchildren: Briana and Cayden Phillips and
Aiden J. Terronez; six sisters: Louise Harris and
husband John, Charolette Diaz, Flora LeForce, Vicki
Lemon and husband Jay, and Ann Steichen and husband
David; two brothers: Dean Keith and wife Cheryl, and
Terry Keith and wife Janelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and
brothers: Wilbur Keith, Gene Keith, Jimmy Keith and
Gary Keith and sister Connie Lesh.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Trout
Funeral Home of Perry. A rosary service will be held
at 6:00pm Friday, October 18, 2019 at Trout Funeral
Home of Perry Chapel. A funeral mass will be held in
Edith’s honor at 10:00am on Saturday, October 19,
2019 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 421 N 9th
Street, Perry, Oklahoma with Father Bala Pudota
presiding. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel-St.
Rose Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rose of
Lima Catholic Church in care of Trout Funeral Home
of Perry, 1408 N. 7th St., Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
