Mary Alice Schlehuber, 79, passed from this
life on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Oklahoma City. Her funeral service will be
2:00 p.m. Monday, May 18 at Bible Baptist Church, Stillwater. Interment will
follow at Morrison Cemetery, Morrison, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home is in
charge of the arrangements.
Mary was born on August 15, 1935 to Earnest and
Ada Clark in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Mary attended Wilburton High School. She
married F.B. Madden, Jr. on October 7, 1953 in Lawton, Oklahoma. To this
union four sons were born. They were together until Mr. Madden gave his life
in Vietnam on June 15, 1969.
Mary later married James Leroy Schlehuber on
October 3, 1985 in Miami, Oklahoma. She was a wife and mother. She belonged
to the American Legion Auxiliary and was a member of the Bible Baptist
church, Stillwater.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Ada Clark and one son
Frank Madden, June 2009.
She is survived by her husband, James Leroy Schlehuber; sons, Mike, Greg,
Ron Madden, step-son, Ronnie Schlehuber; step-daughters, Diana Price, Donna
Simpson; grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Greg, Patrick, Kelly, Stacy, Riann ,
Lisa, Craig, Jason, Jaime, Matt, Eric and eleven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Ron Madden, Mike Madden, Jordan Madden, Jacob Madden,
Patrick Madden and David Jinks. Honorary Pallbearer is Greg Madden.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Bible Baptist Mission Fund
or Bible Baptist Youth Camp, c/o Bible Baptist Church, PO Box 1985,
Stillwater, OK 74076.
