Funeral services for Gary Ben Taylor, age 58, of Perry, Oklahoma are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday August 15, 2008 at the Perry Assembly of God with Pastor Lonnie Rutherford officiating.
Interment will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born on December 22, 1949 to Bennie Lewis and
Ethel (Rickets) Taylor in Oklahoma City, OK. Gary grew up and attended school in
the Oklahoma City area, later joining the United States Army where he served for
2 years in Vietnam. He received 1 purple heart and a one bronze star. He later
married Melinda Rogers on July 29, 1986 in Texas. His hobbies included; working
on cars, fishing and hunting. He was a truck driver for over 6 years. Mr. Taylor
passed from this life on August 12, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK
He is survived by:

Perry, OK, Shirley Calhoun of Oklahoma City, OK, Lori Pearson, Teresa Nida of
Perry, OK
11 Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Kenneth Taylor and Donny
Taylor. 2 sisters; Martha Taylor and Mary Miller.
