PERRY, NOBLE CO, OK
(permission granted)

Danny Mark Pruitt passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma after suffering a heart attack. He was 63 years old.

Funeral services have been entrusted to the care of Dighton-Marler Funeral Home of Perry. Mark was the son of William “Bill” Pruitt and Patricia (Corbin) Pruitt. He was born on September 22, 1956 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He grew up in Lamont and Morrison, Oklahoma and graduated from Morrison in 1974. He was employed at Dart Container at the time of his death. Mark was a gentle, quiet soul who was very crafty with wood-working, drawing, photography and he also had a talent for writing stories of his past adventures. He enjoyed cooking and sharing his creations with his friends and co-workers. He was very proud of his family and talked about them to his friends often, but he also loved the open road. He was the most happy riding his Can-Am on the back roads of Southern Oklahoma, taking photos of old buildings and scenery along the way. He was a member of Forgotten Oklahoma Facebook Group and had met and talked with many folks on the site. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his two children, Bobbi Jo Pruitt of Morrison, OK, and William Pruitt of Okmulgee, OK; sister, Diana Simon and husband Bill of Perry, OK; two grandchildren, Ethan Pruitt of Bentonville, AR, and Elayna Shelest of Morrison, OK; a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be 3PM Monday, September 21, 2020 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, Ok, with Mike Dunn officiating.
