Memorial services for James August Passow, age 91, of Panorama City, California, formerly of Perry, OK are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Perry Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Passow was born on December 31, 1916 to William F. and Ida (Ebert) Passow in Penn, North Dakota. He moved to Perry, OK in 1920 and attended school in the Perry District. He later worked for the Douglas plane plant in Tulsa, OK from 1941-1945 building B17 and B25’s. Mr. Passow moved to California in 1945 where he worked with Housing Construction until retiring. Mr. Passow passed from this life on October 1, 2008 in Panorama City, California.

Mr. Passow is survived:
1 Son: Keith Passow of Pasadena, California
1 Daughter: Debra Hagman of California
1 Grandson: Matt Hagman
1 Sister-in-law: Leola Passow of Topeka, KS
Many nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by: his parents, 9 brothers; Dr. Norman (twin brother), Albert, Fred, Louis, Clarence, Edward, Earl, Irvin and Victor Passow. 2 sisters; Pearl Bodkins and Irene Gallagher

Memorials may be sent to the Christ Lutheran Children's Learning Center or kitchen fund c/o Perry Funeral Home 203 E. Fir, Perry, OK 73077.
