ROBERT E. O’CONNOR 
A graveside service for Robert E. O’Connor, 90, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Grace Hill Memorial Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Aaron Summers will officiate. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

He was born Feb. 25, 1917, in Woodward to Robert Emmett and Osa Gay Burley O’Connor and died Friday, March 23, 2007, at his home.

He served in the Army and attained the rank of corporal before he was honorably discharged. He married Laura Gates May 25, 1946, in Oklahoma City. She died June 26, 2002. He worked as an aircraft technician at Tinker Air Force Base for nearly 40 years before retiring in 1981. He lived in Edmond prior to moving to Perry 20 years ago. He was a Baptist.

Surviving are two daughters, Trudie Patak and Meredee Robinett, both of Perry; and two grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes
Association.
