Funeral services for Mattie Sue Myers, age 78, Woodward, OK formerly of Perry are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday March 2, 2007 at the Perry Church of Christ with Gerald Stewart officiating.

Interment will be in the Grace Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8am-8pm Thursday, March 1, 2007. Services are under the direction of Perry Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent using their online guest book at www.perryfuneralh.com .

Mrs. Myers was born on September 26, 1928 to Miles Dewey and Maggie May (Gaines) Matthews in Konawa, OK. She grew up and attended school in Konawa and Oklahoma City. She attended OKC College of Business. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Perry. Mrs. Myers loved volunteering, singing, and going walking. Her hobbies included making floral arrangements, specialty interior decorating, the OSU Cowboys, and cooking. She always put her family before herself. The highlights of her life included her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Myers passed from this life on February 26, 2007 in Oklahoma City, OK.

She is survived by:
Husband of the home – Nyle Myers
Son – Larry Myers and wife Nancy of Snyder, TX.
Daughters –      Terri Kalfas and husband George of Broken Arrow, OK
          Sherri Dunagan and husband Earl of Glencoe, OK
          Angela Barnett and husband Kent of Woodward, OK          
Brother – Gene Matthews and wife Maragaret of Perry, OK
Sisters -      Betty Baetz and husband Don of Perry, OK
          Deanne Harmes of Anchorage, AK
Sister-In-Law: Mercedes Matthews
Brother-In-Law: Max Edgar
9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandchild Misty Myers, sister Virgina Edgar, and brother Cris Matthews.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Oklahoma Myasthenia Gravis Association at 6465 S. Yale Ave., Suite 623, Tulsa, OK 74136-7808.
