The funeral for Robert F. "T Bob" McDaniel, 72, of Perry, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at Christ Lutheran Church, Perry. The Rev. William Metz will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at the funeral home.

He was born May 18, 1937, in Marshall to Bettie Leora Burns and Alfred Ross McDaniel and died Friday, July 3, 2009, in Oklahoma City.

He was a 1955 graduate of Perry High School. He married Doris Ann Hayne June 6, 1958, in Perry. He began his career at Exchange Bank and Trust in Perry in 1954. He became president of the bank in 1982 and chief executive officer in 1996 before retiring in 2000. He served on the Exchange Bank and Trust Co. board of directors since 1965. He served on the Perry board of education and the United Fund of Perry. He was a member of Perry Noon Lions Club, Perry Elks Lodge and was a coach for Perry Kids, Inc. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, where he served as treasurer and elder.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; two sons, Bradley McDaniel of Pryor and Barry McDaniel of Enid; one daughter, Brenda Waltermire of Stillwater; two sisters, Betty Robbins of Perry and Lynda Dolezal of Billings; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and one grandson.

Memorials may be made to Jason Scott Waltermire Memorial Fund or Christ Lutheran Church, through the funeral home at 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077.
