The funeral for Hank Lloyd, 83, of Perry will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at First Christian Church. The Rev. Martin Foster will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the funeral home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1928, in Royer, Pa., to James Earl and Anna Pearl Umbower Lloyd and died Saturday, April 4, 2009, at his home.
He married Betty Lou Hyder Dec. 23, 1944, in Canute. She died Feb. 28, 2003.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving are three sons, Philip Lloyd of Oklahoma City, Tommy Lloyd of Harrah and Stephen Lloyd of Perry; one brother, Harry Lloyd, and one sister, Beverly Rhodes, both of Williamsburg, Pa.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street, Perry, OK 73077, to Perry Takedown Club, Perry Quarterback Club or Perry Diamond Club.
