Clarence Kukuk, 92, long time Perry community resident, died at Perry Memorial Hospital at 1:35 pm on Thursday April 2, 1992.
Funeral services for Mr. Kukuk will be at 2 pm Monday at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Myron C. Maltz officiating.
Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Clarence was the son of Fred and Sarah Kukuk. He was born July 30, 1899 in LaSalle County Illinois. He attended Whipple School in Noble County. On November 24 1927 he was married to Margaret Durkee in Perry.
He was a farmer and a member of Christ Lutheran church. He had been a resident of Perry Green Valley Nursing center since May 22 1989.
He is survived by two daughters Mrs. Monty (Margaret Ann) Schmitz of Oxford Kansas and Mrs Bob (Louise) Holt of Garber; four sons David Kukuk and Richard Kukuk both of Perry, Fred Kukuk of Willow Park Texas, and Steve Kukuk, stationed at Norton Air Force Base , San Bernadino California; 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren , one brother Walter Kukuk of Perry; and four sisters, Ann Piel, Josephine Ehler, Alva Leonard and Lela Buffington, all of Perry.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, two great grandchildren, four brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.
Margaret Kukuk, 82, 1201 Cedar Street died Sunday September 16,1990 at 9:45 p.m. at Green Valley Nursing Center.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Myron C Maltz officiating.
Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Brown Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kukuk was born to George and Gertrude Durkee on March 30, 1908 in Billings. She and Clarence Kukuk were married on November 24 1927 in Perry.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran church and a former member of the Whipple Ladies Aid.
In addition to her husband Clarence, she is survived by four sons David and Richard Kukuk of Perry, Fred Kukuk of Willow Park Texas and Steve Kukuk of Colorado Springs Colorado ; two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Louise) Holt of Garber and Mrs. Monty (Margaret Ann) Schmitz of Oxford Kansas; two brothers. Paul Durkee of Florala Alabama and Charles Durkee of Billings; one sister Wealthy Purcifull of Midwest City; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, three brothers, one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Hour or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundations.
