Al (Alphonse Anthony) Greiner passed away Monday, June
25, 2012 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Al was born on
January 11, 1927 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to A.M. Greiner
and Clara (Shafer) Greiner.
Al graduated from Oklahoma A&M College, and then served
in the
US Navy during
World War II. After
being honorably discharged, he began his career in the
oil business. He was loved by all who knew him.
Al was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty
Georgene (Kelsey) Greiner.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Jeanne (Andrews)
Greiner of 35 years; children, Peggy Longworth and her
husband, Steve of Flower Mound, TX, Cindy Greiner of
Oklahoma City, OK and Cathy Casad and her husband,
Maurice of Bartlesville, OK; step-children, Patricia
Sayre and her husband, John of Nashville, AR, David Rau
and his wife, Linda of Belleplain, NJ and Judy Scoggins
and her husband, Dwight of Post Falls, ID;
grandchildren, Skylar (Greiner) Sever, Stefanie
(Longworth) Stewart, Kyle Longworth and Kelsey and Megan
Casad; step-grandchildren, Lauren, Ashley and Emily Rau,
Laura and Ed Lincoln, Darin and Justin Scoggins, Catie
(Sayre) Ross, Will and David Sayre and Laura (Sayre)
Solkey and 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday,
June 30, 2012 at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK. A
reception is to immediately follow at the Comfort Inn
Hotel.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Bartlesville, OK.
