ENID — Funeral service for Kenneth L. “Mike” Golliver, 78, will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011, at First United Methodist Church. Rev. Grayson Lucky will officiate. Burial will be 3:45 p.m. in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, Okla., with Rev. Jim Edmison officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Mike was born March 28, 1933, in Lucien, Okla., to George and Annie Cockrun Golliver and died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Oklahoma Heart Hospital, Oklahoma City, Okla.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
On July 22, 1955, he married Donna Kennedy in Perry, Okla.
He was the manager of Maxwell Pancake House in Enid, Okla. He enjoyed golfing, was an OSU Cowboys fan and little league baseball coach.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; two daughters, Kim Andrus and Tamara Patterson; four grandchildren, Kayla Andrus, Matthew Andrus, Stephanie Patterson and Michael Patterson; and sister, Mae Archer of Danville, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgia Bratcher and Faye Sutton; and brother, Laverne “Bill” Golliver.
