PERRY, OK — Doris Mae “Granny” Gleason, 89, of Perry, Okla., was born July 17, 1924, in Perry to John & Muriel (Hughes) Yowell,  and died Saturday, July 27, 2013, at her residence.

Doris graduated from Hayward High School

She enjoyed working at J. C. Penney's.
She married her best friend & sweetheart George Denny Gleason on Nov 3, 1945 in Perry.
They had 4 Children.  He preceded her in death on Jul 1, 1990.

Service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at the First Baptist Church, Perry. Interment will be at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.

Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.
