Enid, OK — The funeral for
Sarah Lou Dolezal, 79, of Perry, will be 2
p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009, at First United Methodist Church, Perry.
The Rev. Ed Cook will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill
Cemetery. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
She was born Dec. 2, 1929, in Slick to Charles B. and Moreta Parkin
Gibson and died Tuesday, June 16, 2009, at Stillwater Medical
Center.
She married James R. “Jim” Dolezal Aug. 13, 1946, in Wellington, Kan. She was a 1947 graduate of Perry High School. She was a member of PEO and First United Methodist Church. She was an instructor for Perry cooperative kindergarten and served as teacher’s aide for children with special needs in the Perry public school system.
Surviving are her husband, Jim; one son, John Dolezal of Perry; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister and one brother.
