Ester Mae (Broyles) Brand, 94, of Perry, Oklahoma, Passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Perry Memorial Hospital. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perry.

Born December 1st, 1921 in Perry, OK to Walter "Hap" and Amanda (Robinson) Broyles, she grew up in Perry, Glencoe and Jennings area and graduated from Glencoe High School in 1939. She attended a trade school, as well, learning the art of being a Secretary.

On April 20, 1942, Ester married Herbert Brand, who, not long afterwords, became a Sr. Herbert and Ester loved dancing, especially the waltz. Every opportunity available, you could find them dancing. Sometimes at the Morrison Community Building in Morrison, OK. At other times at the Bohemian Hall located North of Perry, OK.

Ester loved sewing, housekeeping and cooking. The family reports that in Ester's lifetime it is no exaggeration she would have cooked thousands of her wonderful homemade oatmeal cookies. And it didn't seem to matter what Ester was doing, dancing, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, or chasing children, her hair never seemed to have a single strand out of place.

Ester is survived by her Sons Herbert Brand, Jr. and wife, Sherry, of Perry, OK; and Dennis Brand and wife, Carla, of OKC, OK. Daughters: Donna Reiman and husband, John, of Morrison, OK; and Diana Pagel and husband, Wayne, of Perry, OK. Grandchildren: Rodney Brand, Heather WIlson, Russell Brand, Wade Brand, Dennetta Summerlin, Todd Brand, Chad Rieman, Mandy Langford, and Shawn Pagel. She is also survived by twenty-one Great Grandchildren and three Great-Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Her husband, Herbert Brand, Sr. Her grandson, Adam Pagel. Her three brothers: Chester, Wilbur and Bill Broyles. Her two sisters: Ruth Stokes and Lorene Staley.

Viewing has been set for 9AM-8PM on Wednesday, August 31st, 2016 at the Funeral Home. Family will be receiving guests from 5PM-8PM for a Celebration of Ester's life. They would love for everyone to join them for fun, sharing of memories, and finger foods. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30AM Thursday, September 1st, 2016 at the Pavilion at Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry, OK.

Memorial contributions to the Perry Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the Family.
