The funeral for Melvin Ray Benham, 46, of Perry, will be 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, Perry. The Rev. Ed Cook will officiate.
Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery, Perry. Arrangements are by Brown-Dugger Funeral Home, Perry.
Family visitation will be 6 to
8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 14, 1960, in Greensburg, Ind., to Raymond Donald and
Pauline Faye McCance Benham and died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Perry
Memorial Hospital.
He married Connie Wilson Feb. 24, 1979, in Leadville, Colo.
Surviving are his wife, Connie; two daughters, Tami Lea and Becky Benham,
both of Perry; his father, Raymond Benham of Perry; his mother and
stepfather, Pauline and Jim Knutson of Fairfield, Neb.; one brother,
Donald Benham of Lexington, Neb.; one sister, Cindy Lopez of Lincoln,
Neb.; and maternal grandmother, Mabel McCance of Hastings, Neb.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, 1010 N. 7th Street,
Perry, OK 73077, to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or American Cancer
Society.
