Mrs. Ashley (Lucille) Alexander, 59, east of Perry, died at 9:40 p.m. Monday at Perry Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since April, 1973.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Hollis Morris, pastor of the First Baptist church and Rev. Robert Bazzell will officiate. Burial will be at Grace Hill Cemetery under direction of Parker Funeral Home.
Mrs. Alexander was born Feb. 17, 1915 at Meno, Okla. She was a graduate of Enid High School. She was married at Chandler, Okla., October 28, 1933 to Ashley Alexander, who survives. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Alexander had been in ill health the past 23 years.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; three sons, Ashley H. Alexander Jr., Cedar Falls, Iowa; Alan Alexander, Perry; and Artie Alexander, Windsor, Colo.; two brothers, Everett Carley, Enid; and Floyd Carley, Seattle; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Edna) Zeig, Perry; and Mrs. Harry (Marie) Naunton, Seattle; two half-brothers, Ted Sweetwood, Enid; and Oliver Sweetwood, Carrier, Okla.; and 11 grandchildren.This site may be freely linked, but not duplicated in any way without consent.
