Linda Leona Boyd, 87, of Ponca City, OK, died on Friday, December 5, 2025.
Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Thursday, December 11, 2025, with the family present from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Trout Funeral Home.
A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 12, 2025, at Grace Hill Cemetery in Perry, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Linda was born on Thursday, May 26, 1938, in Perry, OK, to Leo and Margaret (Wagner) Brand. She graduated from Perry High School in 1956, where she was a cheerleader. She married Marvin Clayton Boyd in Perry on July 14, 1956. They were blessed with three children and remained married until his death on March 5, 2000.
Linda was a woman of varied interests and talents as co-owner with Marvin of Concraft, a construction company specializing in pipeline safety coatings. She modeled elegant women’s clothing while living in Midland, TX, for a local department store. She was also a licensed private pilot and active in volunteering for hospice. She was an enthusiastic global traveler.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband; Marvin, in March 2000.
She is survived by a daughter, Clalyn Schaefer of Canyon Lake, TX; two sons, David Boyd of Bridgeport, TX, and Alan Boyd of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Linda is also preceded in death by travel partner, Doug Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave #103, Ponca City, OK, 74601, or McCord Senior Citizens Center, 115 E. Mary Rd, Ponca City, OK, 74604.
