Claude Alfred Dailey Sr

Claude Alfred Dailey, Sr. born September 14th 1937, passed away peacefully with his daughter Marilou Mangan, his granddaughters Patsy and Deloyce Dailey, and his daughter in law Jeanine Howe by his side on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022.
 

He was a graduate of Redondo High School in 1956 and set many records in track and field as a young man as well as being a football star. He was a judge for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe.  He also owned his own construction company and built many houses throughout Oklahoma. Claude loved spending his time at the family farm raising his dogs and gamecocks and other animals, his favorite thing to do was to smoke foods and make the best BBQ. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
 

He is survived by his sister Sylvia “Joyce” Arnett, his children Terri Bain, Marilou Mangan, Chip Rhind, 7 Grandchildren Stacey, Chris, Michael, Jeff, Cole, Patsy, Deloyce, Katherine. 8 great grandchildren, Troy, Erika, Yajaira, Melanie, Antemio, Carter, Brooks, Cambria, Kai, Eason.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Ova Dailey Sr., Siblings Marlene Dailey, John Dailey Jr., Danny Dailey, Jon Dailey and son Claude D. Dailey.
 

Funeral services will be Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Otoe-Missouria Community Building. with council member Ted Grant officiating. Pallbearers will be: Troy Dailey, Emmett Hall, Blaine Hall, Earl Trey Howe III, Eric Payne, Frank Arnett, and Nathan Arnett.  

Burial will follow immediately after at the John Dailey Cemetery in Perry, OK.
