Peggy Ann Holick of Ponca City went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, May 19, 2017. She was 89 years of age.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, with Pastor Michael Taylor officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 23, from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. Following the funeral services, she will be laid to rest next to her husband, Charles, at the Bohemian Cemetery in Perry, OK.

Peggy was born on November 9, 1927 in Three Sands, OK, the daughter of Otis Leonard Cassity and Nora Eva (Helm) Cassity. She was raised in various towns in Oklahoma due to her fathers' occupation with the Santa Fe Railroad. She graduated from Marland High School in 1945 and later attended Oklahoma Baptist University. On September 29, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, Charles J. Holick, having celebrated 65+ years of marriage before his death in 2016. Peggy worked for Conoco for 20+ years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and working in the church library. In earlier years, Peggy and Charlie enjoyed remodeling older homes.
She also enjoyed reading, playing the organ, bird watching, sewing and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Peggy always said, "My Children are the joy of my heart."

Survivors include four children, Ed Holick and wife Teresa, of Ponca City; Clark Holick of Marland, OK; Karen Holick of Ponca City, OK; Cindy Free and husband Wade, of Sharon, OK; and one sister, Pat Welch of Ponca City. She is also survived by grandchildren, Christy and Mark Steelmon of Houston, TX; Joe Holick of Tulsa, OK; Kelsie Adkins of Tonkawa, OK; Kenlee and Gary Thrash of Mooreland, OK; Weston Free and Cooper Free, both of Sharon, OK; Her Great Grandchildren, Conner, Landon, Noah and Tyler Holick, Addison and Carson Steelmon and Texi Thrash, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles; brother, Otis Cassity Jr; infant sister Betty Lou and infant grandson, Keaton Free.

Casket Bearers will be Weston Free, Cooper Free, Ed Holick, Clark Holick, Wade Free and Gary Thrash
