Burial will follow at Billings Union Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

On a cold snowy day Saundra was born.  She lived most of her life on a farm.  She was born to Marshall Maulsby and Eva (Bennett) Maulsby.  Saundra had one sister, Shirley.  She graduated from Billings High School and then graduated from Beetch's Beauty Academy.  She then worked in Enid and Ponca City before opening her own shop in Billings which she ran for twenty years.  After that she went to work at the Billings Fairchild Center for twenty years and six months.  In 1980, she married James Thornburg who passed away in 2003.  Then in February 2014 she married Karl Stephens.  They enjoyed watching old John Wayne movies and visiting with family and neighbors.  Saundra was a member of the First Baptist Church, OHCA and the Billings Chamber of Commerce.  In the past, she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, was a hostess, and went to Falls Creek as a youth sponsor.
