BILLINGS — Funeral service for Karen Harman Ritter, 71, of Billings, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 16, 2011, at Billings Christian Church with Kent Reubell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Billings. Arrangements are by Anderson Burris Funeral Home.

She was born to Elmer Lee and Rose I. (Palecek) Landes on June 14, 1939, in Oklahoma City and died Friday, May 13, 2011.

Karen grew up in Billings. On July 24, 1955, she married Bill Harman.
Karen graduated from Billings High School and they made their home on the family farm in Billings. Bill died in 1969 and Karen moved into Billings in 1986, when she married Ron Ritter. After his death in 1989, she worked as a cashier at Travel Plaza for 25 years. Karen was a member of Billings Christian Church.

Karen is survived by son, Mark Harman and wife Lisa of Perry; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, Bill Harman and Ron Ritter; sons, Clay and Max; granddaughter, Ashley Ann Harman; her parents; and sister, Irlyn Carter.

Memorials may be made to Billings Fire Department.
