Becky Hostetler, 69-year-old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020, in Edmond.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mary Davis officiating.

A private family interment will be held at the Billings Union Cemetery in Billings, Okla., with Reverend Floyd Westfall officiating. Masks are required at the service and the morning service will be live-streamed on the Billings Funeral Home website.

Becky Jo Hostetler was born May 6, 1951, in Enid, Okla., to Ivan "Dusty" and Bertha Lois (Collins) Hostetler. Becky attended Billings school grades one through 12, where she was an outstanding basketball player. She went on to Central State University, where she played basketball and field hockey all four years.  Becky continued her love of sports by coaching and teaching in Okarche, Hinton and Watonga. While in Hinton she completed her master's degree in education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. In her career she taught thousands of kids who adored her and many still keep in touch with her. After a 30-year career of teaching and coaching, she retired and moved to Woodward where a new adventure began. Becky and Jennie started Three Hearts Ranch Pet Sitting. Becky's love of animals and people helped the business flourish. Many friendships were developed through the business and she cherished them all. Becky and Jennie started taking the month of September off to take the camper and dogs to the mountains. Many new adventures and stories were always a result of these trips, but fun was the end result. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was baptized at an early age.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Hostetler of Billings; long-time friend Jennie Small of Woodward; one brother, Brady Hostetler and wife Mendy of Billings; nieces and nephews Karli Jeffries and husband Tyler, and Kellan Hostetler; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Dusty Hostetler. Becky loved people and it showed in her personality.

Her passing has left a void in our lives but we are all better people having had her in our lives. We know she is at peace and dancing with the angels. Rest in Peace dear friend.
