The funeral for Mildred “Mid” Combrink, 88, of Billings, formerly of Garber, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at First Baptist Church, Billings. The Rev. Floyd Westfall will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Billings. Arrangements are by Dugger Funeral Home, Billings.
 
She was born Dec. 11, 1920, in Wellington, Kan., to Otis Carl and Elsie Muriel Snyder Engle and died Monday, April 6, 2009, at her home.
 
She married Freeman Combrink May 22, 1937, in Three Sands. She moved to Billings in 1961, where she worked as a CMA at Billings Fairchild Center before she retired. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Billings and Willing Workers Sunday school class.
 
Surviving are three daughters, Melva Kabetzke of Amarillo, Texas, Kathleen Strohmeyer of Enid, and Jan
  Matteson of Billings; two brothers, Dale Engle of Garber and Glen Engle of Taft, Calif.; one sister, Mary Payne of Mounds; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
 
In addition to her husband, Freeman, she was preceded in death by four brothers and one great-grandson.
 
Memorials may be made through the funeral home, P.O. Box 41, Billings, OK 74630, to Hospice Circle of Love or First Baptist Church of Billings.
