Paul Marcellus Gould

Paul Marcellus Gould
Feb 07, 1958 ~ July 10th, 2020

Paul Marcellus Gould, age 62, of Webbers Falls, Oklahoma passed away Friday, July 10th, 2020 at Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Paul was a 1976 graduate of Webbers Falls High School and went on to graduate from OSU with a degree in Entomology. He had a passion for helping others. He mentored several young men to help them obtain their aircraft mechanic license and/or pilot license. He loved the youth of Webbers Falls Baptist Church and supported their annual summer camp trips to Falls Creek. He was always available to help anyone at any time. He looked forward every Sunday to teaching his Bible class at Gore Nursing Home. When he could not be there, he had a most faithful substitute in Don Carter. Paul was a man of God who loved the Lord with all of his heart. In February 2014, he was blessed to go on the dream trip of his life when he traveled to Israel with 2 other Godly men. They helped with pruning the grapevines in the fields through the Hayovel Ministry. They also had time to take tours and "walk where Jesus walked."

He was actively involved in the Oklahoma Agriculture Aerial Association and had many good friends among its members.

Paul had a "wicked" sense of humor. He could have you completely convinced something was absolutely true until you saw that "gotcha grin" on his face.

He will be missed by many, but he is so happy to be rejoicing with his Lord.

Paul is survived by his wife, Glenda; parents, Robert and Joveta Gould; sister, Rene Funkouser and husband, Luke; brother, Bryan Gould and wife, Andrea; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Ward and wife, Lisa, and Darrel Ward and wife, Tammy; five nephews, 3 nieces, ten great-nephews and a whole host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, July 17th, 2020 at the Webbers Falls School Gymnasium, 200 S Stand Watie Blvd. Webbers Falls, OK 74470 with Rev. Wendell Cox, Rev. Tim Harper and Tom Haning officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Jerry Ward, David Ward, Andrew Swearingen, Rick Shelby, Bob Ross, Ty Weaver, and Grant Ward with Bryan Gould, Morgan Gould, Erick Johnson, and Colton Adcock serving as honorary pallbearers.
