Bill Lowery, 85, born June 12, 1933 in Briartown, Ok to Jack Lowery and Walcie Sanders Lowery. Bill passed on August 23, 2018 in Muskogee, Ok.
Bill is survived by his wife Margarette (Nelson) Lowery of the home, two children, Kirk Lowery and wife Patty, and Kelly Anderson and husband Robert. Four Grandchildren, D'Wayne Lowery (Kristie), Melissa Carrier (Nick), Stephanie LaCrone (Garrett) and Megan Mills (Robbie). Seven Great Grandchildren, Zoey Hutchins, Jade Hutchins, Sinjin Lowery, Kaden LaCrone, Lucas LaCrone, Brennley Williams, and Diesel Lowery.
Memorial service will be Saturday, September 1st, 10:00am at Starr Cemetery.
Margarette Elaine (Nelson) Lowery, born October 6, 1936, of Briartown, OK, passed away on October 1, 2020 in Muskogee, OK.
Memorial services will be held 1:00pm Monday, October 12, 2020 at Starr Cemetery, Briartown, OK with the Pastor Mike Hart of Fairview Baptist, officiating. Arrangements are by Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Margarette was born in Briartown to Earl Nelson and Bessie (Conover)Nelson. She graduated from Porum High School. She married Bill Lowery on April 21, 1956 in Tulsa, OK. She worked in Dr. Henderson's office until her retirement in the late 90's. She was an active church member of Fairview Baptist.
Margarette is preceded in death by her husband Bill Lowery (2018) and her father Earl Nelson (1960).
Margarette is survived by her two children, Kirk Lowery and wife Patty, and Kelly Anderson and husband Robert. Her mother, Bessie (Conover) Nelson Shoemake, age 107. Two brothers, Jerald Nelson and wife JoAnn, Larry Nelson and Christine. Four grandchildren, D'Wayne Lowery and wife Kristie, Melissa Lowery, Stephanie LaCrone and husband Garrett, Megan Mills and husband Robbie. Seven Great Grandchildren, Zoey Hutchins, Jade Hutchins, Sinjin Lowery, Kaden LaCrone, Lucas LaCrone, Brennley Williams, and Diesel Lowery. Lifelong friends Leon and Shelia Burnett. Close friends Ina Webster, Norma Cole, and Mary Welch.
