Ruth Maxine Rogers (Warren), age 89, was born January 18th, 1931 the daughter of Charles and Violet (Dugan) Warren and passed from this world on July 20th, 2020. Graveside services will be held 10:00am Saturday, July 25, 2020 at South Bethel Cemetery in Braggs, Oklahoma with her Son Tony Rogers and Dr. James Baker officiating. Arrangements are under the Direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home.
A viewing will be held 1:00-8:00 pm Friday, July 24, 2020 at Lescher-Millsap Chapel in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Family will be present to greet friends from 5:00-7:00 pm.
Ruth met Johnny Rogers and they were married June 22, 1975 in Fort Gibson at the House of History. She loved working with people as an Accounting Clerk at Greenleaf State Park in Oklahoma from which she retired in 2000. Ruth was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church. She also loved to visit and share fellowship with her husband at Saint Paul United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Johnny Rogers, daughters: Charla Behr and husband Bill of Lake Jackson, Texas, Renee Westerman and husband Ross of Kingwood, Texas and Jena Sue Rogers of Muskogee, Oklahoma; sons: John Selman and wife Ginny of Rockwall, Texas, Tony Lee Rogers and wife Shannon of Muskogee, Oklahoma and George Raymond Rogers of Braggs, Oklahoma; brother: Bill Warren and Ellie Hudson of Bella Vista, Arkansas; grandchildren: Allison, Nicole and Emily; a host of great grandchildren, other family and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister, son Gary Rogers, grandson Tommy Rogers and great grandson Lucas Williams.
