Gary Winn Rogers, 37, Checotah, died Saturday, March 20, 2004 near Checotah, OK.
Gary was born February 26, 1967 in Muskogee to Johnny and Nesha L. (Little) Rogers.
Gary grew up and attended school in Braggs, OK. He graduated from Braggs High School. Gary worked as a Cabinet Maker for Slape Cabinet Company for several years. He liked to fish and camp but most of all he enjoyed spending time and playing catch with his son.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Ina Bell Rogers, and Howard (Bob) and Cathern Allman. Gary is survived by one son, Tommy L. Rogers of Checotah, OK; his parents, Johnny L. and Ruth M. Rogers of Braggs, OK; his mother, Nesha L. Little of Checotah, OK; one sister, Jena S. Rogers of Muskogee; two brothers, Tony L. and Shannon Rogers of Oktaha, OK; and George R. Rogers of Checotah, OK; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at South Bethel Chapel Cemetery in Braggs, OK with Reverend Earnest Hale and Mr. Ben Hale, officiating. Burial will follow in South Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fred Bottegal, Joe Guillian, Ernie Alverson, Shane Alverson, Don Dugger, and Bill Hull. Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
