Betty Lucille (Scott) Irving
June 2, 1947 ~ January 26, 2014

Funeral services for Betty Lucille Irving, 66, of Braggs, OK, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at South Bethel Cemetery Chapel in Braggs, OK, with Brother Josh McElyea officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Derick Colwill, Isaiah Colwill, Jaxon Bowley, Kasen Bowley, Lucas Mullins, and Jeremiah Parker. Burial will be in South Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Millsap Funeral Service of Fort Gibson.

Betty was born June 2, 1947 at Muskogee, OK, the daughter of John A. and Mary (Phillips) Scott and died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Fort Gibson. On May 18, 2002 she married David Irving in Braggs. Betty was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, David of the home; three children, Angelia Bowley and husband, Chris, of Fort Gibson, Cynthia Ferland and husband, Chris, of Tahlequah, D. J. Gray of Checotah; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dale Hightower of Sand Springs, Floyd Hightower of Jennings, Dewayne Hightower of Tulsa; and sister, Lena Woodruff of Tulsa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Pat Harrison; one brother, and one great-grandson.
